About Us

Managing Partners Brandon Baxter and Chris Voyles both started their careers as youths at Post Properties in the early 90’s. Post was well known as the standard of superior landscape at the time. The extensive training program and their commitment to pleasing renters trickled down through every employee. This is where the two gained their passion for the best landscape quality in the business coupled with a deep desire to create raving fans as customers. Voyles left Post for a 4 year stint in the United States Army where he traveled oversees and served in Operation Freedom. Baxter remained in the landscape industry where he joined Scapes/Lifescapes and oversaw the commercial division (Scapes). During that time Voyles came home and the two reconnected. Chris began working with the high end residential division (Lifescapes) and, after Lifescapes was sold off, ran the company for 8 years. The two partners careers would parallel over the next several years, each working together in upper management positions for different Atlanta landscape companies.
In 2016, Voyles started Thrive Land Care with a heavy emphasis on high end residential. The two stayed connected and would occasionally joke about partnering up and spawning a commercial division. In 2019, they did just that. Baxter left his upper management job and the partnership began. In short time, the two would grow the business and created standalone commercial and high end residential divisions. Then in early 2021, Thrive purchased Lifescapes and merged the two businesses.

Thrive Land Care’s mission is simple. Provide the highest quality landscape in their market and provide customers with unmatched communication and care. They do that by hiring the best people, training them well, caring deeply for every employee and their success and by simply doing what is right. We don’t want to be the biggest, just the best.
